Family and friends are invited to gather at Borthwick Norman’s Mortuary on Thursday, August 15, 2013 with visitation from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with prayer service at 7:00 pm; Cremation to follow and burial at a later date.
He was retired from the US Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician.
He is survived by his wife, Magdalen “Maggie” Ho`opi`i; son, Kalani (Dayle) Ho`opi`i; daughters, Yvonne (John) Medeiros, Michele Ho`opi`i, Lynette (Nelson) Ramos; hanai daughter, Trisha Simpson; brothers, Norman (Bernadette “Cookie”) Ho`opi`i, Gilbert (Joann) Ho`opi`i; sister, Bernice Kekona; hanai sister, Taulua Moimoi; grandchildren, Josh Ho`opi`i, Lula (Sam) Howarth, Maka Medeiros, Nelson Ramos, Koa Medeiros, Pono Ho`opi`i, Bella Ramos, Iaukea Ho`opi`i-Ampong.
He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Katey Ramos
